During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in blackouts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were wounded while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered interruptions to water supplies, according to city officials.

Meanwhile, a minor was killed in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Russian forces has escalated attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has demanded "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, European nations and the G7 - in supplying defensive weapons and implementing restrictions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty rockets struck energy facilities, describing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were laboring to fix the damage.
